Wondering where the best camping, backpacking, hiking, fishing, lodging, dining, and mountain biking opportunities are found along the Virginia Creeper Trail, Appalachian Trail and within the Mount Rogers NRA? We’ll tell you! We’re located where the trails meet in Damascus, Virginia. Outside our front door you can step on the Virginia Creeper Trail, Appalachian Trail, Iron Mountain Trail, Trans-American (76) Bicycle Route, Daniel Boone Heritage Trail, the Crooked Road, and the road to my grandmothers house. You can literally backpack, mountain bike or drive right to our door.

Each May SunDog Outfitter is home to the "Free Hot Dog Prior to the Hiker Parade" every Trail Days Festival.
